We are seeking a skilled Manager of Operational Finance to take charge of our Finance department at the plant level. This pivotal role involves overseeing all finance and costing activities within the plant, including ensuring statutory compliance. You will manage a team of 2-3 Finance executives, driving the financial success of the plant and contributing to the company’s growth.

Job Description:

  • Product Costing and Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough product costing and analyze variances to ensure accurate assessment of plant costs, encompassing raw materials, production materials, and factory overhead.
  • Collaboration with Operation and Supply Chain Teams: Work closely with the operations and supply chain teams to manage operational costs, develop operational plans, monitor actual costs against budgets, and report on variances.
  • Cost Savings Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost savings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute cost-saving projects.
  • Financial Audit Support: Assist the Finance controlling team in statutory audits, including audits by company auditors, tax audits (direct and indirect), internal audits, and due diligence audits conducted by investors.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Provide insightful financial information and explanations to senior executives, contributing to both short-term and long-term decision-making processes.

  • Qualified CA with 2 – 5 years of experience in Accounts, Finance, or Audit.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing plant is crucial for this role.
  • Completion of Article Ship from a top 10 audit firm, preferably a big 4 firm.
  • Strong knowledge of the taxation regime and Indian GAAP.
  • Experience in handling audits with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Ability to provide valuable business insights, domain knowledge, and expertise in finance, accounting, and taxation to business and operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Capable of thriving under pressure within limited resources and tight timelines.
  • Experience with ERP implementation is a valuable asset.
